Bodi's best friend

For months we have been wondering how our first baby (Coco) would be reacting to the baby's arrival. This first picture is their first encounter. Coco wanted to lick his face so so bad, but we told her to be gentle and she just gave a few sniffs. Needless to say Coco has taken a back seat to all the new baby activities.

But only a few hours after Bodi's arrival Coco knew he was important to us and he was going to be sticking around a while. It is like she thinks he is her baby. As soon as he starts rustling around in the crib she perks up and runs over to him, like "did you hear that." When he gets his diaper changed she is right there making sure he is OK. Last night he had a little fussy moment and cried for a few minuets, she was pacing right there next to me. Almost like she wanted to know "what are you doing with my baby!!!"

As you can see in some of the pictures she is never far from him. She still would love for him to pick up the ball and throw it for her. When he is in his swing, she gently places the ball right next his feet and waits patiently.

We feel much better, I thought she would be jealous, but come to find out she somehow knows he is something special to us. Just amazing. She must know they will be best friends for years to come.
