4 Months old already!

We took Bodi to his 4 month check up, I don't know why they call it a check up they should just call it a torture session. He was so happy right after waking up from his nap. He seen the Dr. and she said he is looking great. Then the evil nurse comes in with her torture tools. Bodi was such a tough little guy. He obviously belted out a huge scream when the needles went in, but as soon as daddy picked him up he was all better. He even started laughing as we were walking out. This time was so much better then the 2 month shots.
Well here is what everyone wants to know after these well baby appointments. How big is he:
27 inches long
17 lb 13 oz
17.5 inches head curcumfance

So this is what I am worried about. Of course he is going to be as big as his daddy, or pretty close. Chris already has to deal with the "how tall are you" questions from complete stangers. I am just worried he is going to be a rediculous 6" 10' or something. But if he is the good news is I am sure he will be some kind of professional athlete and we get to retire, just kidding. Chris was asking the doctor about his size and she said that he is proportional (similar percentile in hight wieght and head size) and they actually want him to stay in the 90's percentile to show he will be growing at a normal rate. We just grow them big I guess.

well we are kind of at the other end of the spectrum; i'm not really sure what is worse. eden has nearly fallen off the charts for weight, although she has held constant for height (50th percentile). the doctor's seem to have this great ability to make me feel guilty for her below average weight even though she is otherwise perfectly healthy! i actually hate going in because i dread the scale. i know it is silly but true. at least the doctors area happy with bodi's rate of growth--no guilt trips or tips on how to fatten him up (they always tell me the same thing, more whole milk. too bad eden detests milk!) anyways, bodi is a little mutant, but like you said, look at his parents. :)
