It has been one year since the day Bodi came into our lives. This quite possible could be the fastest year of our lives. You always hear "they grow so fast" "you blink and they are in high school," and it is the truth. Just as we were adjusting to the addition to our family, all of a sudden it has been a year. The first year is full of changes and milestones. From a fragile little baby that depends on you for everything to a big toddler running through the house yelling momma, as he chases the dog.
I also think the first birthday is a lot more important to us as parents than to the little guys. Since it was the week of the big storms in California we were not able to get to Disney as we had planned. We spend the day playing at the mall and taking a walk through Toys R Us. We then took Bodi for a photo shoot to document his first Birthday face. It was a fun day that ended with Bodi destroying his Elmo cake. Happy Birthday Bodi.
